Our restaurant encompasses nearly 12,000 square feet of beautiful dining space in addition to our lush one-acre beer garden. The building embodies our affinity for melding organic features with raw urban components, as elements of wood, metal, stone and water combine to create a compelling environment. Tall bamboo stalks growing from a bed of smooth river rocks contrast gracefully with a steel stairway topped by a rebar balustrade, while warm wooden tabletops and a curving indoor bar complement the angles of the concrete and stone walls. Our goal of reducing our environmental impact is reflected in our choice of construction and furnishing materials: reclaimed wood and bricks, stones collected on site, and quarried stone and leather “rejects” all serve to promote sustainability as well as beauty. Our World Bistro & Gardens have been honored with the 2007 Orchids and Onions People’s Choice Award for architecture and the 2009 ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) President’s award.
