Stars up above you, frogs and crickets singing away behind you, a classic movie in front of you, and your favorite beer in your hand. Sounds magical, doesn’t it? Indeed it is. So bring lawn chairs and blankets, grab a beer, and join us at the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens every Wednesday night for the 2009 series of Stone Late Night Movies! Once a week throughout the summer, movies are projected onto a twelve-foot wide screen located in our garden. Make yourself comfy and settle down on the grass for a fabulous night of great food, great beer and great movie watching! Remember to bring extra layers: even though we're in SoCal, nights still get chilly.

You'll need some good eats to sustain you through the movie, so try some of this season's offerings dreamed up by our stellar kitchen staff. Feast on tasty fare like our tempeh chili, giant pretzels w/house mustard, and Arrogant Bastard Ale smoked cheddar brats, then finish it all off with a fancy chocolate-dipped frozen banana or our Chef's special bacon brittle. Another exciting addition this year: "Dr." Bill Sysak has gotten in on the fun by choosing special theme-oriented beers for each movie to get you in the mood.

A few tips: You need to get a wristband as soon as you arrive, otherwise your seat isn’t guaranteed. Wristbands are distributed at the host stand in the afternoon, and then beginning at 6:30 pm at the top of the stairs. Most shows fill up completely, so get here early and please carpool! A tried-and-true strategy: many folks make reservations for the Bistro at least 2 hours early, put out their chairs when they arrive, and then enjoy dinner before the movie. Otherwise, you can still arrive early to stake out a spot and visit the Movie Night Bar. You'll find it across the bridge with tasty snacks, Stone beers on tap, Ethiopian coffee, and Mexican hot cocoa.
